

Bladderwrack is a brown seaweed scientifically known as Fucus vesiculosus. It grows along the rocky coastlines of the North Atlantic and North Pacific Oceans and has small air-filled bladders that help it float
-this is where its name comes from.

How to make it into a gel?
1. Soak 2 hand fulls of the Bladderwrack in spring water for 2 hours.
2. Throw away the water it was soaking in and give it one more rinse.
3. Place the Bladderwrack in a pot with the 100ml of water.
4. Bring it to a boil and allow it to simmer for 10 minutes on the lowest heat.
5. Blend the Bladderwrack with the same water you boiled it in and add another 100ml of water to the blender and then blend. Check the consistency throughout, if it is too thick then gradually add water and blend until the consistency is a thick runny liquid.
6. You can store it in a glass jar or a container of your choice. Store in the fridge and consume within 3-4 weeks.
7. Use it as a shampoo, facemask, body scrub etc. There are no boundaries.
